- AutoCAD 2007 - announced mid March 2006 - many enhancements for 3D solid modelling, rendering visual styles presentation for 2D and 3D, new file formatetc
- AutoCAD LT 2007 to matchwith A2007.
- AutoCAD 2006 - announced mid March 2005 - enhanced grips, block authoring, create tables from blocks, migration tools from previous versions, more tool palettes, Markup review, dynamic input (you can do without the command prompt), cleverer hatching, cleverer sheet set manager, new calculator, upgraded text editing etc. View the differences in versions (124KB pdf)
- AutoCAD LT 2006 - LT version to match A2006. View the differences.
- Architectural Desktop 2006 - the enhanced version of AutoCAD with additions for object-based building creation in 3D -Download some basic info here - email for a demo CD of more information
- Revit V7 and Revit Series V8 - a new building design product based on parametric technology. This product can read and write AutoCAD data but it is not based on ther AutoCAD engine. Download basic infomation here.
- AutoCAD 2005 - the version of AutoCAD available from April 2004- Faster Data Creation - Easier Data Sharing - email a request for the Preview Guide (1.8 MB pdf)(sorry Kiwi's only) - many new enhancements including smaller file sizes (about 50%) with a new file format. - AutoCAD LT 2005 - the new version of LT to match A2004 - Efficient, Secure, Reliable - the only alternative to read A2004 files. Email a request for the Preview Guide.
- Architectural Desktop 2005 - enhanced version of ADT using the A2005 core.ADT Features and Benefits download 900KB. There is a Preview Guide for ADT 2005 - it's 62 pages and 12.5 MB in pdf format. How big will the full details be? Email for us to send you a CD. Now includes VIZ Render.
- Autodesk Raster Design Now you can easily use and reuse existing design data in scanned maps, drawings, aerial photographs, and satellite imagery. Autodesk® Raster Design 2004, the editing and image-processing tool that works inside AutoCAD saving you hours of drawing time by converting raster to vector and combining drawings with real-world imagery. - Autodesk Revit - Autodesks' new parametric technology for Buildings. Want some info? More info in Revit for AutoCAD Users
- Autodesk Subscription Program - the option to pay an annual fee in advance instead of randomly-timed upgrades. Fees vary for different products, but for A2007 the fee is $NZ855 + gst for the first year then $765 per year, You can only start a Subscription Plan at anytine. Subscrption Plan are now the only method of obtaining upgrades for AutoCAD. You can still purchase upgrades for LT at $975, but LT subscription plans are $380+gst per year per licence.
- Autosketch V9 - introductory CAD $230 +gst (totally different look and feel to AutoCAD)
- 3D VIZ - enhanced rendering to accompany AutoCAD or use it in its own. Particularly good for the building industry.
